Valea today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Andrew Hammond as CEO, effective March 15, 2019.
It is with great joy and enthusiasm that the board now can announce that Andrew Hammond, who is one of three Founding Partners of Valea, will be Valea´s new CEO. He has extensive experience from the industry and will now continue to drive its success for the next chapter as one of Europe's leading consulting companies in the field of intellectual property.
”I must say that it is a true honour to take over the rudder from Anders and inherit such a well-run ship,” Andrew explains. “Valea has established itself as a leading provider of IP consultancy services in the European market and my ambition is, together with my highly motivated team, to further strengthen and grow the company. I am a true believer in our motto “Total Commitment and Together”!” says Andrew Hammond.
Valea has a history extending more than a century back to its origins in the patent agency, Dahls Patentbyrå, which was later acquired by another patent agency, Göteborgs Patentbyrå. The company was acquired from the Danish firm, Arator A/S, in 2004 and is wholly owned by the employees. The Board and co-owners thank Anders Havstam for his valuable achievements since the start of the company.
